Lord Nelson September 28 Lord is the Lead Vocalist. His instrument is his voice. His voice is complimented by his SHURE SM58-LC. SHURE Microphones have been a constant in his musical career. He says hey are the best sounding and most durable microphones ever. Most people already know that Nelson was previously the Lead Vocalist for Stuck Mojo. He recorded two studio albums with them- Southern Born Killers and The Great Revival. Lord also has a solo album Fight! My Struggle Between Heaven And Hell which features the French band Lies. Lord’s love of so many different styles of music puts him in the situation where it’s tough for him to name one band or performer that has influenced him more than any other. This all-encompassing love of styles of music allows him to create songs in so many genres. That diversity has always made it a tough situation to answer the influence question. A quote from the legendary Quincy Jones has followed Lord all his life, and revolves around the statement that if you take ten of your favorite bands and combine all the things you love about them you will create your own style and identity. This spoke volumes to him and is obvious in the sounds he creates. No Power No Crown means doing what we do with a passion and not conforming to what the industry says you must do to be successful. We will do what we do as we see fit. We are NPNC and not trying to be anyone else. Be Peace or else means he will speak peace when peace is spoken but can speak war if need be. Respect him or feel the wrath of his madness. His favorite song is Generation Axx Man. He loves it's message, that it speaks to the youth of today as well as the older folks about bridging the generation gap. POWERFUL Lord Nelson loves to go Bass fishing. This always frees him and puts him in such a great state of mind. Of course, he loves to write and listen to music also- this is his ultimate high, and shows his passion and dedication for what he does.. Steve and Lord have a history that stems from touring with Stuck Mojo. Nelson was the Front Man and Coleman was the Sound Engineer. Steve kept his vocals on point all tour long, which isn’t hard to do, but it always gave Nelson an added bit of comfort knowing such a skilled individual had his back. They hooked up on Nelson’s song “Red White And Blue” where NPNC added their elements to an already great song thus making it even better. He never knew he played guitar so well. In return, Lord helped with some of the writing for NPNC and performed with them from time to time. The band appreciated what he brought to the table and asked if he’d front the band. Despite another offer to front a band with some major musicians in the industry NPNC had something special that drew him into the fold. The best part of being in the band for Lord Nelson is that they all bring something special and different that compliments each other AMAZINGLY! It simply works and works well. They have so much fun performing: six dudes who love music and give that love every time they step on stage. All of them respect each other and respect means a lot. Lord Nelson would like the fans to know that you can always count on great music. A great show and a great time when you are rocking with NPNC. They are going to hit you from many angles to keep you stimulated mentally as well as physically.
